OUR MISSION
Students Against Period Poverty (SAPP) Cupertino is a nonprofit organization led by high school advocates in California. We firmly believe that period poverty—the lack of access to menstrual products—is a serious issue today that we can address with our personal perspectives and experiences to make both a local and global impact. Through advocacy and service, we strive to raise awareness about period poverty and period stigma, as well as make period products easily accessible to those in our community and worldwide.
ABOUT US
Our organization gives volunteers the opportunity to create care packages filled with the necessary menstrual products that period poverty victims need for a full week on their period. Additionally, we collect sanitation products and extra household items to donate to homeless shelters. You can learn more about us on our instagram @sappcupertino.
